Fleeing . . . again
And we need your help
I have realized I may not have said this clearly before: we are doing absolutely everything in our power to leave the United States. Every day the government lobs more and more attacks on the transgender community, which makes my family more and more unsafe here.
We need your help. As you may have seen here, we have a nonprofit that is helping us fundraise so they can pay us what we need to secure a Digital Nomad Visa — but we have a LONG way to go for this to be a viable path. So far we have $2874 sitting in an account, with monthly pledges totaling $250. We need a monthly equivalent of $5667ish dollars or a yearly total of $68,000. We are contributing to this as we can (including $869 from our recent garage sale and soon a transfer from my Venmo from book sales and facebook marketplace sales of $445), but we need help from our community.
